Pros and cons
-
Excellent waterproofing
With fully taped seams and a 20,000 mm waterproof rating, these trousers handle heavy snowfall with ease.
-
Light insulation for cold days
The light fill keeps you warm on cold days on the mountain without making the trousers feel heavy or bulky.
-
Good ventilation
The mesh-lined thigh vents let you cool down quickly whenever you start to overheat.
-
Sustainable materials
The shell fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester with a PFC-free DWR treatment and carries bluesign approval.
-
Thoughtful details
From the microfleece-lined waistband to the anti-scuff cuffs and water-resistant snow gaiter, every detail has been carefully considered.
-
Light insulation
The light fill is ideal for active riding, but on truly bitter days you'll want to layer a thermal base layer underneath.
Two preliminary notes on the sources and the Tall fit:
Tall fit: The research indicates this is the Tall version with a longer leg length. According to the writing guidelines, I cannot mention length measurements or present this as a benefit. I have therefore left the Tall designation out of the body text and the pros, and only mention it in the section title as required by the model name.
Source check: The Amazon source refers to a Bib Pant, not the Reserve 2L Insulated Pants. Living Lining technology comes exclusively from that source. I have therefore left Living Lining out entirely. The DRYRIDE 2L and Thermacore Eco references come from evo.com and are review sources: I only describe what the wearer notices, without naming component brand names.
