We have attempted to make our terms and conditions as simple and clear as possible. We don’t want them to be needlessly complicated, which is why we’re keeping it simple and legible.


1. General

  1. The company behind this website is Global Web Trading Company B.V.. Our HQ is at Valeriusstraat 63, 2517 HN in The Hague.

2. Applicability

  1. Sometimes, extra conditions may apply to a product. In those cases, these conditions apply in addition to the general terms and conditions mentioned here.
  2. Since we are situated in the Netherlands, and because our website is hosted in the Netherlands, you are subject to Dutch law.
  3. In the future, we could amend our terms and conditions; in that case, you will be able to find those changes on our website.

3. The agreement

  1. All of our offers are valid while stocks last.
  2. When you have placed an order with us, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail. You will also receive a message when your order has been dispatched. In this message, you will also find the track & trace code that will enable you to keep track of the delivery.
  3. We will print all of the necessary information and order details and enclose it in your package. You can also find the information on our website. So, in case you have lost your receipt, you can retrieve it using your Duijvestein Winterstore account.
  4. We will always tell you upfront what, when and how you can purchase something. Naturally, we will indicate what it will cost and whether it is possible to return it. If we’ve made a small pricing mistake to your advantage, you’re in luck, and we will leave it at that. In case of a large error, where the price is so exceptional(ly low) that it is clearly a mistake, we will rectify it.
  5. Generally speaking, the following applies: if you can order it on our website, it’s in stock. Turns out we can’t deliver it? Then, we will offer you a refund or a suitable alternative. Of course, you are always allowed to return a replacement of that kind.

4. Right of withdrawal

  1. Sometimes, an item can be underwhelming once it’s actually in your hands. In that case, you have 14 days to let us know that you will be returning the product. From the moment that you’ve notified us of your intention to return the product, you must return it within 14 days. We will refund the price you paid for the item + the delivery costs (if applicable) within 5 days of receiving the returned item.The delivery costs will only be refunded if you are returning the entire order. If you paid using a gift card, you will receive a gift card of equal value in return.
  2. It’s massively helpful to us if you tell us why you’re returning the item, but obviously, you’re not obliged to do so.
  3. Make sure to keep the product in the original condition and return it unused, in the original packaging, with the (price) tags still attached. If you damage the product due to carelessness, you may not get a full refund. The shipping costs of the return are at your own expense.If you needed to return the item due to an error on our part, we will obviously pay for the return shipping costs.
  4. Unfortunately, it is not possible to return products that were custom-made, like skis that have been mounted and drilled to your particular ski boots.

5. Exchanges

To avoid complicated procedures, the process for exchanging an item for a different size or product works as follows:

Return the old product (in accordance with our regular return policy) and place a new order through our website. The purchase cost of your returned item will be refunded once we have received your item.


6. Prices

  1. The prices in our stores and on our website are identical. If you notice that that’s not the case, please let us know.
  2. All of our prices include VAT.
  3. Orders over €75 will be delivered free of charge, with the exception of skis and snowboards.

7. Guarantee

  1. On all of our products, we offer the legal guarantee concerning manufacturing defects with normal use. This means that you should be able to use the products without any issues during their expected lifetime. The minimum lifetime for our products, as determined by us, is 2 years, excepting very intensive use.
  2. Reasonable costs that have been incurred to discern the cause and extent of the damage to a product may be eligible for reimbursement. You will always need to have contacted us about the matter beforehand, either via e-mail ([email protected]) or phone (+31(0)793208897). To receive your reimbursement, you will need a confirmation that has been sent by e-mail.
  3. If you need to incur costs due to a mistake on our part, those costs are eligible for reimbursement.   4. We cannot be kept responsible for any other damages and/or indirect costs like rental costs for replacement items, travel costs, vacation costs, loss of income and/or profit, etc.

8. Shipping and delivery

  1. During “normal” periods, we will dispatch 90% percent of the orders within 1 business day. Incidentally, and during exceptionally busy periods, it may take one additional day to dispatch orders. When it comes to delivery times, we are reliant on our delivery partners. Within the Netherlands, packages will normally arrive one day after we have sent them out. In exceptional cases, such as extremely busy periods or snow/sleet, it may take 1-2 additional days. Delivery times for the rest of Europe (outside of the Netherlands) are 2-3 days longer on average. We do not ship or deliver anything on national holidays.
