Pros and cons

  • Grip in all conditions
The serrated steel edges of Magne-Traction keep you in control, even on hard or icy snow.
  • Asymmetric
The asymmetric shape means the radius on the heel side is shorter, making heel-side turns noticeably easier and helping you find your flow quickly.
  • Playful and versatile
Reviewers love this board for its freestyle character and great switch rideability: fun on the piste and a blast in the park.
  • Ready for the whole mountain
As an all-mountain freestyle board, you can take it anywhere on the hill, from groomed pistes to the occasional off-piste adventure.
  • Less suited to deep powder
This board is freestyle-oriented and not as at home in deep powder as a dedicated freeride board.

Description

The GNU Ladies Choice is an all-mountain freestyle board for advanced female riders who want to explore every part of the mountain. The C2x profile combines rocker between your feet with camber underfoot, making the board nimble and playful while still giving you grip and response when you really drive through your turns. The asymmetric shape ensures that heel-side and toe-side turns feel equally smooth. Magne-Traction, GNU's serrated steel edge technology, keeps you in control in all conditions. The twin shape rides just as well in both directions, making switch riding a whole lot more enjoyable.

Features

Level: Advanced. You need enough experience to get the most out of the medium flex and the lively C2x profile.

Type of snowboarder / riding style: All-mountain freestyle: for riders who love the piste but also want to hit the park or ride switch. Not a dedicated freeride board, but versatile enough to handle most situations on the mountain.

Grip: Magne-Traction's serrated steel edges deliver grip and control in all conditions, including hard or icy pistes.

Why choose the GNU Ladies Choice?

The Ladies Choice is the board for advanced female riders who don't want to choose between the piste, the park, and switch. The C2x profile makes it nimble and lively, the asymmetric shape gives you balanced turns on both sides, and Magne-Traction keeps you gripping when the piste gets hard or icy. GNU is known for thoughtful construction aimed at snowboarders who really mean business, and you can feel that in this board. At Duijvestein Winterstore, we're happy to help you find the right size and binding.
