Description

Pros and cons

  • Slim fit with stretch
The close fit and stretchy softshell fabric give you plenty of freedom of movement on the piste.
  • Soft inner lining
The brushed inner lining feels comfortable against the skin and keeps you warm on cooler days.
  • Snow gaiter with grip
The snow gaiter with anti-slip silicone band keeps snow out of your boot and stays firmly in place.
  • PFC-free water-repellent treatment
The DWR treatment is fluorine-free, a conscious choice for a cleaner production process.
  • Moderate waterproofing
With moderate waterproofing suited to light snowfall, these trousers are less ideal in heavy or prolonged precipitation.
  • Light insulation
The soft lining provides basic warmth, but in genuinely cold conditions you will want to wear a thermal layer underneath.

Description

The Luhta Joentaus D is a softshell ski pant for women in a slim, close fit, designed specifically for plus size figures with a shorter leg length than the standard Joentaus model. The stretchy fabric and brushed inner lining make it comfortable to wear, whether you are skiing hard on the piste or enjoying a relaxed day at the resort. Critical seams are taped for added protection in light snowfall.

Features

Who it's for and how it's used: A softshell ski pant for women, suitable for both skiing and snowboarding. The Joentaus D is the plus size version of the Joentaus model, with a leg length that is slightly shorter than the standard fit.

Warmth and breathability: Lightly lined with a soft brushed inner, comfortable on cooler days and breathable enough for active use on the piste.

Waterproofing: Membrane with a 10,000 mm water column rating, offering moderate waterproofing suited to light snowfall. Critical seams are taped for added protection.

Fit and sizing advice: Slim fit, close to the leg. The plus size cut is tailored to a fuller figure, with a shorter leg length than the standard Joentaus model.

Practical details: Regular waist height with belt loops and an adjustable elasticated waistband. Two zipped front pockets, zip openings at the hem with an adjustable leg opening, a snow gaiter with anti-slip silicone band, and a decorative front zip.

Why choose the Luhta Joentaus D?

The Luhta Joentaus D is the right choice if you are looking for a well-fitting softshell ski pant made specifically for women with a plus size figure. The slim fit, stretchy fabric, and soft lining make it a pleasure to wear on an active day on the piste, while the shorter leg length means it sits just right straight away. At Duijvestein Winterstore, we are happy to help you find the right size.
